Launch Down Payment Assistance Program
Launch is a Down Payment Assistance grant program from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis. It helps first-time home buyers with assistance for down payment, closing or housing counseling costs when purchasing a primary residence. Launch funds are exclusively available to households who work with a participating bank like American Community Bank.
Qualified households may receive up to $20,000 in down payment assistance!
A few more details:
- Funding/Application starts April 15 and ends when funds are exhausted
- Funds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until available funds are exhausted
- Income requirements are at or below 80% AMI (Area Median Income)
- The maximum subsidy cannot exceed $20,000 or 20% of the purchase price, whichever is less
- Funding can be used towards a down payment, closing costs, counseling costs, or broker fees for the buyer
- Homebuyer(s) must contribute a minimum of $500 of their own cash
